Mental Health Awareness

As we all feel the need to increase awareness on mental health, let us first start off by defining mental health itself. Mental health, it includes our emotional, psychological, social and well being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.


In this world where not everybody can understand people battling with mental health conditions and where people used to think that mental health sickness is a joke, we, as fellow students, would like to let you know that we deeply understand and appreciate your existence and your bravery to keep going despite what you're going through. We understand that it is lonely, stressful, and depressing to stay at home as the pandemic continues to strike in our country. We understand that you missed being with your friends at school and all the laughter you've shared together. But no matter what you're going through at this point of time, may you always remember that You matter to me, your friends and family even if you're feeling the opposite way. We would like to let you know that your mental health is a priority, your inner peace is essential, and your self-care is a necessity. Hence, if you feel like giving up, it is okay to pause, take a deep breath and remember all the good things in the world that you haven't seen yet and the dreams you are about to fulfill.


We are in this together. May You always choose to keep going and see the bright side of your life as you still have a long way to go. Your journey has just begun and we would love to see you happily living while reaching your dreams and ambitions in the future. PADAYON.
